The Chimbote Foundation’s Annual Golf Outing

MONSIGNOR ROOS MEMORIAL

Our 19th annual event will be held on Monday, June 3, 2024, at the South Hills Country Club.

Strengthening the “Bridge of Love, Hope, and Faith” between the Diocese of Pittsburgh and Our Mission Outreach in Chimbote, Peru

On Monday, June 3, 2024, the 19th Annual Chimbote Foundation Golf Outing will be held at one of the region’s premier private golf clubs, South Hills Country Club. The event will be hosted by Tom Shanahan, nephew of Monsignor James Shanahan, the first Pittsburgh priest to serve in Chimbote, and co-chaired by Jim Zielinski of the diocesan Facilities team. All proceeds support the Chimbote Mission.

All participants will receive 18 holes of golf with carts, driving range, skill prizes, beverages on course, lunch and dinner.

If you are unable to participate in this year’s golf outing, you can still support our mission with your donation.
