The Diocese of Pittsburgh (DOP) collects personal information for web transactions, newsletters and emails, and general inquiries. The DOP only uses this information for the intended services. For some services, The DOP may request information about background, occupation, demographics, and interests.
The DOP may collect information about computer hardware and software, such as IP addresses, browser types, domain names, access times, and the referring websites that visitors use to access web pages. The DOP uses this information to maintain the quality of its services and to collect general statistics.
Policy on Information Disclosure
The DOP collects personal information to deliver the services requested and understand its audience to better meet their needs. The DOP does not sell, trade, or rent any personal information.
